Returning to the disgraced methods of sound collaging captured in part A of Sombre, its successor pursues a refined extension of the thick and vulgar downpour. Manifesting through overdriven textural soundscaping and imposed contributions of auditory decay, its conclusions remain unclear for a presumed eternity. Wishful plausibility of an end to the winds’ torment is punished without consideration as the cement-like haze proclaims its furthering power through absurd possession. Winds thicken in routine, and yet the storm rejects a state beyond viscous. Answered with a blank slate, all questions fail upon the unforgiving dictations of Sombre II.

When I listen to Neckbomb's atonal sonic depictions of madness, cynism, greed and cruelty embedded in our nature and only partially constrained by lies we surround ourselves with, I always picture him laughing like a maniac over some despicable being believing all humans are inherently good and moral, who pleads, crying, to stop being shown THE TRUTH.
